Signing up

• When you sign up, you'll receive emails through the service. If you do not receive any emails, you should check your spam filtering settings.
  
  
• Payments made online are secure. To ensure your password is secure, you must use a minimum of 10 characters (a combination of numbers, letters, and symbols).

There are several things you can try to help in viewing PDF files in Safari version 5 on a Mac computer.

1. Make sure you have Acrobat Reader 9 (AR9) installed. Install AR9 and it will ask if you use Acrobat Reader to view PDFs. Close Safari, check "yes" and re-open.
2. If AR9 is already installed, go to HD/library/internet plug-in and throw away the "AdobePDFviewer" plug-in, then restart Safari. QuickTime will now open the PDF. You may also need to check the mime types in QuickTime. Open System Preferences/Quicktime/Advanced and then open the "Mime Settings" button. Scroll to "images" and check the box for PDFs.
3. If you are running Mac OSX 10.6.3 (Snow Leopard) Safari version 5 and Acrobat 9, your options are limited.
   1. Change Safari preferences to a 32-bit browser. This, however, can sometimes lead to problems later.
   2. Use Firefox as your primary browser

The best overall solution for all Mac users is to install Firefox and use that as your primary browser.

Please note that the new rates approved February 4, 2010 went into effect on March 1. Because of meter read cycles, many of our customers’ bills were calculated by prorating the charges according to the rates that applied both before and after March 1. Charges on those bills may not add to the total due that is displayed on the bills.
