Customer Actions

Take sensible water-conservation steps such as

• water outside only when necessary;
• sweep, don’t wash, paved areas;
• repair leaky faucets;
• don’t dawdle in the shower;
• wash when your dishwasher and clothes washer are full;
• don’t run water continuously while shaving, brushing teeth, peeling vegetables, or washing dishes by hand.

Agricultural customers who do not participate in the Irrigation Management Service (IMS) program are encouraged to submit a conservation plan.

EID Actions

• Continue water-efficiency programs such as complementary inside and outside home and business water audits, rebates or discounts on water-efficient appliances and toilets, installation of evapotranspiration controllers for businesses and homes, the Irrigation Management Service program for agricultural customers, and more.
