FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Placerville, Calif. — Due to the Sand Fire burning in the Outingdale area, drought watering restrictions were temporarily lifted. Now that the threat of fire has passed, mandated water restrictions will resume on Friday, August 1.

Residents of the Outingdale service area are once again subject to a Stage 4 Water Emergency.  Due to state restrictions, outdoor water use is prohibited.  Total water use is limited to 50 gallons per person per day, or 401 cubic feet (approximately 3,000 gallons) per person in each bimonthly billing cycle.

We thank you for your outstanding water conservation so far, and ask for your continued cooperation during the drought.

If you have any questions, please contact EID customer service (530) 642-4000 or via email at billing@eid.org.
