EID’s service area is divided into five political divisions. Click here for maps showing the service area and political divisions.
Voters who reside in the five political divisions elect EID’s Board of Directors to four-year terms on a staggered basis. This means two of the Directors (Divisions 2 and 4) are elected in the same year, and the other three Directors (Divisions 1, 3, and 5) are elected two years later.
Elections are held in odd-numbered years. Candidates’ names appear on the ballots of the voters who reside in the divisions where the Board seats are up for election.
EID Board members elect their officers—a president and vice president—to one-year terms that run from January through December.
Current Board members are:
John Fraser, President—Division 2 (current term ends in 2013)
Harry Norris, Vice President—Division 5 (current term ends in 2011)
George Osborne—Division 1 (current term ends in 2011)
Bill George—Division 3 (current term ends in 2011)
George Wheeldon—Division 4 (current term ends in 2013)
