Placerville, Calif. — Eldorado National Forest will begin prescribed burning northwest of Kirkwood next week if weather conditions allow. This important watershed protection project is part of a multi-year ecological restoration project partnership with Sierra Nevada Conservancy, the U.S. Forest Service, and EID.
