Eligibility Requirements: Does your household qualify?
- Yes, I pay EID for single family residential wastewater service AND
- Yes, I receive a discounted rate through PG&E’s CARE program for the same address and in the same name AND
- Yes, I live at the property that receives these services and the EID bill is in my name
If you say yes to all three (3) of the required qualifications you may apply by doing the following:
Complete an application then submit the application and a copy of your current PG&E bill for the same address and show participation in the CARE program. The PG&E bill must be dated within the past two months of application date.
Applications are processed in the order they are received and can take up to four weeks to process. A letter will be mailed to you confirming or denying enrollment.
Ways to submit your application.
- Scan and email your and PG&E bill to: LowIncome@EID.org
- Drop off your application and PG&E bill to EID Headquarters: 2890 Mosquito Rd Placerville, CA 95667

Biannual Renewal Process: Customers who are currently approved for the low income assistance program will need to renew their account every two years. Approximately 30 days prior to your account's expiration in the program, applicants will receive a letter explaining the renewal process. A new application, along with a current PG&E bill that shows enrollment in the CARE program, will be required to be submitted in order to remain in the EID low-income program. Please do not submit your renewal application before the 30 days or it will not be accepted.
