The District offers several programs and services to City of Placerville and EID customers to help conserve and achieve higher water efficiency in your home or business.  These  programs include rebates through agency partners and are available at a first-come first-served basis.

Commercial (includes institutional customers such as schools, churches, CSDs, and HOAs)
Request a Water Wise Business Call, tailored to meet your needs.

Residential 
Request a Home Water Survey, including irrigation system, plumbing retrofits, and leak detection.

Water Education - Resource Materials
Request complimentary water education materials for your classroom or youth program.

Rebates
City of Placerville and EID customers can apply for a rebate towards qualifying purchases of water efficient items. Rebates are granted for qualified purchases in order received until funds are exhausted.

Customers of RWA member agencies, such as EID, are currently eligible for a discounted irrigation controller directly from Rachio. Our customers can take advantage of the discounted price AND still be eligible for the $100 rebate directly from EID. Visit the Rachio web page to get started. Once you have installed your new Rachio timer, you can send in the EID rebate request form. Please read all instructions to ensure eligibility.

All rebates are available on a first come, first-served basis while funds are available.

If you are a City of Placerville or EID customer and have not recently replaced your plumbing fixtures, then complimentary low-flow shower heads, bathroom faucet aerators, and toilet tank bags to reduce flush volume are available for your home. You may come to the District's Headquarters located at 2890 Mosquito Road in Placerville.

You can receive a complimentary landscape survey to learn more about irrigation efficiency and receive recommendations for system improvements. Leak detection assistance can also be performed using the water meter to help determine if you have an undetected leak. Indoor efficiency upgrades can also be provided for customer installation during your landscape survey.
