A rebate of up to $250 per water service account is available to EID customers on a first come, first-served basis while funding lasts, for qualifying purchases made in 2026. These rebates help customers save money by offering financial incentives for installing water-saving devices, and this year EID has added additional eligible devices and increased the rebate amount for flow monitoring systems and devices installed on potable water service lines. With these updates, customers now have even more ways to conserve water while lowering their overall utility costs
The Tier 1 rebate offers up to $100 for installing simple, water-saving devices such as high-efficiency toilets and clothes washers, hot water recirculating pumps, and smart irrigation controllers. New for 2026, pool covers are now also eligible.
The Tier 2 rebate provides up to $250 for installing more advanced water-saving devices specifically flow monitoring systems and devices, on potable water service lines. These items track water use in real time and alert customers to irregularities such as leaks, overuse, or inefficiencies.
Customers of RWA member agencies, such as EID, are currently eligible for a discounted irrigation controller directly from Rachio. Our customers can take advantage of the discounted price AND still be eligible for the $100 rebate directly from EID. Visit the Rachio web page to get started. Once you have installed your new Rachio timer, you can send in the EID rebate request form. Please read all instructions to ensure eligibility.
